And finally .......... Oops! Tom and I disrupt a big-budget scene Some big-budget movie has been filming in the grounds of Greenwich Uni for last three weeks. Tom and I took a leisurely walk across the grass near the River only to be accosted by a security guard who asked us to move along quickly as we'd messed up a scene!!! Tom didn't seem bothered at all - chuckle!

Julian Clary reunited briefly with his beloved dogs Albert & Valerie as a reward on BB. We know this because he is in the Celebrity Big Brother House. Whatever your opinions may be concerning reality television, it would take a hard soul not to have been moved at the sight of him reunited with his mutts for five minutes in the Diary Room. Any dog lover will have smiled at his request to be allowed to “blow a raspberry on Albert’s leg”. Both dogs are rescue dogs and are great friends with our two, spending many a sunny day together in Regent’s Park. Albert was originally rescued by Paul O’Grady (his new series based at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home starts this Monday) and is quite a handful. Valerie is the matriarch and although she will never be as famous as Fanny the Wonder Dog, she and Albert are always by Julian’s side. The look of joy when he was told that they were in the BB house was a real tear jerker. How often are we confronted by the emotional scenes of offspring being reunited with parents, but for those of us who choose not to have children, the separation anxiety of missing your dog is comparable. Forget a double dip recession, the rich still love their luxuries. This week a private jet company has started offering first class airline seats to owners and their pets. And 'DOGA' (yoga for dogs) is becoming more and more popular and is soon to be on offer at The Top Peoples store. Each class, we are told, will be limited to five places...."
